Correction on our history lesson. The hurricane that hit Belize City was Hattie in 1981. The government buildings were moved soon after to Belmopan. It's the smallest capital I've ever seen!
Ok, it's taken me this long to figure out how to get on the site, retarded me! ...and now I have to delete cookies?! I need a computers 101 course, do they have one of those in your village? I'm so glad you found me--I miss you so much! I miss everyone so much but I'm feeling like I'm in the right place to make the world a little better place. The mix of people here is amazing and they all seem to get along and mingle---way better than America. Good first lesson!
Look at you giving us history lessons already!!! Glad you got there safe and sound... and even happier that you have this blog so we can follow you on this incredible journey!! You know that saying "distance makes the heart grow fonder" well seeing you at Betty's was really great and also made me sad that because of work/life schedules we had lost touch a little bit and didn't/weren't able to hang out as much as we used to - and go on our famous Sound of Music bike rides :) you were an amazing person before you decided to even go on this adventure and now you're like Superwoman...saving one little village at a time!! Miss you tons but know right now you are doing what you are supposed to be doing!! xoxo JoJo
Today is Tuesday and I'm in need of another blog. Hope you can get to the internet cafe soon. I tried to look up Armenia, but it must be way too small to make the map. And Friday will soon be here--yikes! Don't forget us....
