Friday in Belmopan

This has to be short but because I have to catch a bus back to Armenia before dark and the sun is going down. K'ekchi lessons are going well and the technical training is intense. Tomorrow on our day off we are planting a village garden and Sunday on our other day off we are building a latrine! So much for relaxing... Love to all and sooooooooo appreciate hearing from everyone

God bless us all

  3. How do you say latrine in K'ekchi? One of those would have come in useful on my hike in God's Country (Tn Cherokee National Forrest) today where the facility was worse than in China and I was detected when I tried to hop into the bushes. See, I'm in hiking prep for my Belize trip!!

Every time I put on my IPOD I hear at least one or two songs that make me think of you. Today it was Garth Brooks 'The Change'.

    You're the best!!
    Love,
    Katrin

PS. Roddick just lost to Isner (big guy from U of Georgia) in five sets!

  6. It's Friday morning (Dino's birthday) and I'm meeting Joann and Carlene for breakfast. You'll be Topic #1. (Dino's working on Joann's car). Maybe we'll get him a goodie from Wendy's cake shop.
Sounds like your training and prep for your new village life is right on track. It's a challenge, but I know you'll be up for it.
It's football season here and sad to say FSU lost to Miami in their opener Monday night -- great game -- 38 to 34.
    Keep those blogs coming.....

Good morning Tracy! I luv your pictures..., no worry about painting the house or mowing the lawn. But, as chief medical officer and the designated Wizard of..., Armenia, what are your duties there? And can I help in any way? Example: my (former) hygienist, Kristen, went to Africa with a church group and a simple well drilling rig. They drilled some water wells in villages that prior had none. Farmers have used wind mills for electricity, water pumps, to scare away tornadoes, etc. Is it in your job description to import technology? If YES can I help - from here?

I'm off to Switzerland Tuesday for a week of hiking with two of my brothers. It's getting chilly there - 60's/40's. I will be away from my computer until Sept 25. I'll drop another note before I go. Stay safe,

    Dr Bob
